  • It's a little bright but it is finished! I finished it at a retreat. I love it and received a lot of wonderful comments about this quilt and the pattern Bonnie designed. I have learned so much from Bonnie and others who made this mystery quilt.
  • This has been one of my most memorable quilt classes. My classmates were from all over the world and gave each other great feedback along the way. Not only did Bonnie give us this fabulous pattern for free but helped assist us in learning how to set up our own blog and attach it to her blog.
  • I'm considering using a different border as this one seems so bright. Maybe a dark blue would be a better choice.
  • The backing is a similar green print to the green border.
  • I plan to bind it with the green border fabric unless I decide to change the border.

  1. Helle marinebull, thanks for your visit and friendly comment on my blog. It made me curious and look at you your celtic solstice is on its way to completion. Great job. I am with you on the blue border idea. I saw a version on Bonnie's fb yesterday where the white tips reached out into the border. I liked that a lot. I like to see the geometry finished. And I am thinking of turning the orange tips as they are in the Dear Jane quilt. Ahh such a long way to go. Greetings from Germany to Wisconsin.

  2. Wow, it looks good!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I must have missed Bonnie's tips for pressing once it's assembled - I'll have to go and look for it.

  3. Thanks for your comments on my CS. Your bright colours look so bright and fresh, they are lovely. I agree with you about the 'classes', so many people around the world to share the experience with.
