My Grand Illusion Mystery Quilt is taking place very slowly. This is all that I have done so far but at least it's a start! Too many other UFO's that I'm trying to get finished. Hopefully that will happen soon. One of them has to be done by next week. After that I will have a little more time to get back to this project! I am enjoying all the various quilters all over the world who are sharing their progress on this quilt. It is an awesome class that includes people from both sides of our Planet Earth!

I'm making slow progress too, partially because I'm a college instructor and the semester is wrapping up, but mostly because I am pretty new at this art and slow. But it's so much fun to see what other people are doing and chat with quilters all over the world. What an awesome experience.
ReplyDeleteI can understand that as I'm a retired elementary teacher and I don't miss doing end of the semester reports and report cards! Plus all the Christmas programs and parties.
DeleteLooking good so far! I love your batik fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI love my batik, too. It is so much easier to work with than regular cotton.
DeleteLove your colors. I am slow also. I just don't know how folks can finish a clue in one day.
ReplyDeleteSome feel compelled to race to the finish line!
DeletePretty!...could be some Gals have more time to sew too....
